Release Notes
All updates to Cherry Note, newest first.
🍒
v1.2.0 — 2026-09-17
This update focuses on making everyday editing, saving, and exporting more reliable.
Fixed
- Note saving: Fixed issues with text changing when reopening notes. Pending changes are now saved before quitting or installing updates.
- Moving and copying notes: Recent edits are preserved when moving notes between workspaces. Duplicated notes keep their own images and outline settings.
- Exports: Quick export now includes your latest typing. Pasted images follow your chosen export settings, and Word exports include arithmetic blocks.
- PDF exports: Fixed page sizes and orientation settings, with improved page sizing and pagination on macOS.
- Search: Search results now open correctly when you're viewing a help page or release notes.
- Keyboard shortcuts: Fixed issues with changing, clearing, and resetting shortcuts, including modifier keys on macOS.
- Arithmetic blocks: Multiline comments are now handled correctly and no longer affect calculations.
- Code blocks: Selected text is now easier to read.
- Images: Fixed images staying stuck on a broken-image placeholder after a temporary loading failure.
- Misc: Other bug fixes and reliability improvements.
